Minor in Philosophy and Applied Ethics
The Minor in Philosophy and Applied Ethics exposes students to the discipline of philosophy, including its unique methods and broad scope which includes the sub-disciplines of logic, epistemology, metaphysics, aesthetics (including art and music), history of philosophy, and ethics. Ethics can be further subdivided into theoretical ethics, metaethics, and applied ethics. Applied ethics examine specific topics, such as the environment or engineering as a profession, to establish our obligations, how we ought to act, and how we ought to live in relation to those topics.
The Minor in Philosophy and Applied Ethics requires completion of FIVE courses.
