Utilizing Tutoring as a Writing Tool
The First-Year Writing Program works with the Writing Center at NJIT to create a holistic academic experience. Instead of viewing tutoring as correction, the FYWP encourages all students to utilize the Writing Center as a tool to enhance learning, advance critical thinking skills, and build confidence in their academic compositions.
Tutors at the Writing Center provide:
